The world of the Sin Eaters is built around mythic motifs of the post-apocalyptic western, magical realism, and gothic literature. Much of the design language and narrative arcs have been informed by my time in the American Southwest and my love of popular culture, history, and esotericism. The work in this project is primarily focused on Isidore’s character design, a wondering bounty hunter contracted to fight the dark spirits of this scared and ancient land.
